About Dr. Danielle Seidman
As a breast medical oncologist at Perlmutter Cancer Center at NYU Langone Hematology Oncology Associates—Mineola, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to women facing breast cancer, while also offering an environment where patients feel heard, respected, and supported every step of the way, which is crucial for their overall wellbeing. My goal is to empower my patients with the knowledge and support they need to make informed decisions about their care throughout their treatment journey.
My career in medicine has been both a personal and professional evolution. After completing my internal medicine residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, I went on to pursue a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Throughout my training, I was deeply moved by the stories of resilience and strength from the patients I encountered. It was during this time that I discovered my true passion for women’s health and breast cancer care, and knew I wanted to dedicate my career to providing compassionate, comprehensive, and cutting-edge care for women facing breast cancer.
As part of my ongoing commitment to advancing the field of breast cancer treatment, I am actively involved in clinical trials, which can provide patients access to innovative treatments that may not yet be widely available, offering them additional options for their care. These trials are critical in discovering new, more effective therapies and treatment strategies, and I am proud to be part of the effort to bring the latest innovations to my patients.
